The hot springs were definitely a highlight of our Christmas stay. We particularly enjoyed the private outdoor baths, which were a perfect way to unwind and relax. The view of the mountains from our room was stunning and really added to the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. We also appreciated the traditional Japanese breakfast, which was delicious and offered a unique dining experience.
The hotel is a bit secluded and getting there can be a challenge, especially without a car. while the staff was friendly and accommodating, communication in English was a bit difficult at times.
